Executive Producer
Mark Foligno is a producer who is and has been involved in a number of Film & TV businesses in the UK. Including most recently as SVP of Production Lipsync and being a founding Partner of CoreStar Media an entity set up to make high end TV Dramas. He is also just finished a film called Legacy of Lies an action thriller starring Scott Atkins which is currently in post.
Mark has a strong track record in the commercial and creative side of the media business, working at Sony Broadcast, ending up as Head of Media UK & Ireland. In 2003, he bought Molinare, transforming it into one of the largest privately-owned Editing and Post-Production companies in the UK, a powerhouse in high-end TV drama and feature film, tripling turnover in 5 years.
During his tenure he co-produced and executive produced BAFTA winning Moon, and 4 Time OSCAR winner and 7 Time BAFTA winning The King’s Speech. Since selling Molinare in 2011, Mark’s film and TV credits include, Legacy of Lies, Best Laid Plans, The Rise – Wasteland, Montana, Golden Years and The Retreat, which aired on BBC2 in a primetime slot.
Most recently Mark has just sold a documentary to Sky called “The Reluctant Hippy” which has also sold to China.
Mark currently has credits as a Producer, or Exec Producer on over 40 films & TV projects which have sold in multiple territories around the world. More recently Running Naked, Wasteland and Golden Years were both selected for the Beijing Film Festival amongst many others.
Chief Financial Officer
Neil has enjoyed a career as an accountant in the entertainment industries for over 20 years, with experience spanning computers games, comic & book publishing and film & tv. Having worked at all levels in the finance function he appreciates the finer details, being more than happy to get his hands dirty when needed, as well as excelling with the higher level strategic planning and organisation.
During his time as accountant at Rebellion and progression to CFO, he helped develop and guide the business through a 10X growth in all areas, including turnover, EBITDA, staff and number of studios. He successfully managed the Finance, HR and Facilities departments servicing a broad ranging group consisting of over 40 companies. Having been instrumental with the acquisition of many studios/businesses and with their seamless integration into the group, he is extremely proud to have built up relationships and worked with many talented and creative people.
Head of Art
Ryan is an Australian designer and director with a diverse visual style and a unique range of depth and experience in motion arts and film. Ryan’s passion for art, combined with his love of feature films and video games, naturally led him to pursue a career in the motion design industry.
With twenty plus years in the industry Ryan has been fortunate enough to work & collaborate with some of the worlds top brands, agencies and direc- tors. From the initial pre-production look book to the everyday managing of the team to deliver a final product Ryan covers all aspects of the creative process.
With an exceptional style of his own, Ryan quickly gained recognition for his design work on Guardians of the Galaxy, Jupiter Ascending and Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. The latest in his impressive portfolio of work include Disney Plus ‘The Mandalorian’, James Wan’s ‘Aquaman’ and William Eubank’s ‘Underwater’
VFX Creative Director
Victor Perez is a film director, screenwriter and visual effects artist with more than 20 year of combined experience, and has worked on a number of Hollywood films, including ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’, plus many more.
Considered a visual effects compositing guru, awarded with the Italian Academy Award for his work as VFX Supervisor on ‘The Invisible Boy: Second Generation’ in 2019, Victor started his career in the film industry as a photographer and digital compositing artist. He then work on collaborations as 2D technical director and consultant where he developed a combination of both artistic and technical understanding of film postproduction and visual effects from a photorealistic point of view. Today he designs and oversees the process creation of feature film visual effects as VFX Supervisor.
In 2015, Victor delved into the world of film directing, and has written and directed two short films, receiving more than 27 awards and nominations for his debut ‘Another Love’ (2015). His latest short film ‘Echo’ (2017) uses pioneering, never-seen-before motion control technology and was shot in just five long takes. The film has won 20 awards worldwide including best film, best director and best visual effects, for which has been also nominated for Outstanding Virtual Cinematography at the Visual Effects Society (VES) Awards 2019. Victor’s passion for story telling combined with his award-winning directing and visual effects artistry has positioned him as an up-and-coming film director and a one-to-watch in the industry.
Creative Developer
Dave has over 20 years experience in design and development, covering everything from motion graphics to databases & coding.
With a traditional design communications background, Dave has transitioned well over to digital design and development. He has worked on a wide variety of projects from building an iPhone game to large corporate websites. He is experienced in 3D modelling, animation and product visualisation, user interface design, audio and video editing and programming.
Creative Director
Scott is an award winning writer and director with 20 years experience of making episodal TV, films, documentaries and adverts.
With over 25 years writing and developing TV series and feature films, Scott will join the writing team and bring a natural ability to tell compelling stories that will encompass all the favourite aspects of the popular games in narrative form, as well as appeal to wider audiences for the TV shows.
Scott also has have over 20 years experience in creating global marketing campaigns for the worlds biggest brands and the launch of popular TV shows for Amazon Originals, Prime Video and Netflix. Having built global creative studios and teams in London, Seattle, LA and NY, Scott will lead on the marketing roll out of the company and the shows promotional release.
Chief Operations Officer
Steve has enjoyed over 25 years as a strategic thinking, business leader and successful entrepreneur.
He has successfully operated within the film & tv industry providing facilities and services to many of the industry’s leading productions around the world including the James Bond franchise, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars to name a few. Steve enjoys a unique wealth of both industry and business experience and has access to a considerable network of contacts and friends
His achievements include successfully building a fledgling film and TV rental business into a global facilities group alongside a Private Equity investor. This multi-disciplined entertainment resource provided lighting, camera and grip rental services, studios, mobile power, operated a large transport fleet and engaged several hundred employees and freelance technicians. This culminated in a successful disposal to a US corporate in 2007.
Through his many years in business, Steve has gained a thorough understanding of how to maximise potential value and is able to provide succinct opinions and guidance when working collaboratively with owners, shareholders, directors, financial institutions, and legal professionals.
He has a wealth of experience in a variety of businesses through start-up, organic growth, growth through acquisition, disposals and working alongside Institutional Investors both in the UK and internationally. Steve has an abundance of ‘hands on’ experience which, combined with a common-sense approach has enabled him to successfully operate across a diverse range of businesses and production sectors.
CEO
Brian has been working in film and tv for twenty five or more years. Starting out as model and props maker for film and TV working on movies like Gladiator, Golden Eye, Tomb Raider and many more.
It’s always been a goal to know as much of the workings of the industry for him, so given the chance to direct on pop promos and commercials was a dream come true, eventually he’d move into producing and writing for a number of projects and freelancing in the US and UK. Later he would be offered Head of Film & TV at Frank Films when he came back to the UK.
Brian later moved into computer games, Blitz Games Studios, developing in house projects for co-production as Head of Film and TV. Working with Mark Foligno to find production partners. Then at Rebellion, developing tv shows such as Judge Dredd Mega City one, to the fantastic Modern History a vehicle developed for Jason Kingsley to talk about his passions, horses and medieval history.
From there he moved to MPC to develop the tv department advertising, learning as much as he could about the post industry with some really amazing people. This is when the idea for Jenkins and Tate was created, a tv production company to develop high-end action adventure, escapism, based on comics, computer/role play games.
Creative Director
Alex is an award winning film Financier, Executive Producer and screenwriter working in London, Berlin and Los Angeles. He is CEO of Creative Media Finance, a content fund. He also heads up the film and television drama division of Dog Eat Dog productions.
Alex has held senior positions in all aspects of independent film and high-end television drama. From development to production to finance and all the way through to international sales & distribution.
Most recently Alex executive produced and financed Hope Gap (2019) starring Annette Bening and Bill Nighy and Skin Walker (2019) starring Udo Kier. Amazon and Jed Mercurio currently have him writing an 80’s set crime drama set for production in the UK in 2021.
Alex has developed and delivered content to most major platforms including, Amazon, Netflix, Vice, BBC, ITV, & C4.
Company Secretary
Michelle Sims started her career in the hotel and leisure sector. Over the years Michelle has taken on new and diverse challenges and extended her experience and knowledge in varying types of roles from office manager, hotel manager to managing a large property portfolio for a private investor, reporting directly to the CEO and company director of national property maintenance company.
